In a heartbreaking turn, the beloved pet turtle, known as Shelly by all who knew her, met an untimely demise. It started with what seemed like a harmless outing through the backyard. According that Shelly wandered too far from her familiar territory, and sadly came into contact with a hungry bird. The community is profoundly saddened by this loss.
